I Tactis trainer "confirm move" button.

And a mouseslip is deep thinking? And this doesn't also apply to correspondance chess? If we have a game with REAL calculation where this is possible, why can't it exist in a tactics trainer when it fixes a problem more great than the "harm" it causes.
Slipping once happens, its not really that bad though, tactics ratings aren't gonna be warped because of a slip or two. If you slip every time, perhaps you should take your time, there is no clock. Having a confirm move would cause a lot more harm than a slip or two.
#8: Thank you for clarifying your argument. That one makes a lot more sense, and I agree entirely. Your first response seemed to simply confirm that tactics training and correspondence are both the same, but should be treated differently, and didn't make much coherent sense. Your expansion here explains why you think they are different, and I agree.

With correspondence, you can use an analysis board, or even a side board of your own, and see the moves in advance. With tactics training you're supposed to visualize it in your head. The time argument is irrelevant, it's a matter of different circumstances.

Also, yes, as others noted - click-click method is better than dragging for these.
