Tania Sachdev seems to understand the fourth game better than Magnus Carlsen.

That's what I'm talking about. She is amazing! :) If Magnus wins today, I think that all will start to play Berlin defeance against e4.. :)

Yea, exciting and intense game! I was exhausted just by sitting and watching it, could imagine how the players are feeling.

Can someone explain to me why Carlson played a4 in move 60? I don't understand this move at all.

The idea was that it's already a position that should end in a draw and if the white king gets on the fourth rank and black gets to play R7e4+ and Rg2 there might still be a chance to play for a win.

ok i get it now i think ... he thought he can 61. Ka4, Ta2 61. Kb4, Te4 62.Kb5, Ta5
