The (not so secret) Secret to Chess Improvement

Looks interesting, I would like to see what specifically is 'other'. Maybe also worth noting that chess books are the lowest. This could possibly be considered a skewed answer because it is an online survey. Hence, other online activity would probably be predominant, ie puzzles and videos. Just some thoughts...

Yes, I completely agree with you. If I did the same survey at an OTB tourney, the results would probably change by at least 20%, but even this way it was hard enough to find players who qualified, it would be even harder with OTB players-and this is better than nothing.
Other' ranged many different answers. Those that appeared multiple times included analyzing master games, having the right mindset, analyzing your own mistakes, and spending a lot of time. I will go into more detail in the future blog post
