What to do with the websocket problem?

Hey all. I get the following error message in IE:

"Bummer!
Your browser supports websockets, but cannot get a connection. Maybe you are behind a proxy that does not support websockets. Ask your system administrator to fix it!"

As far as I know, I am not behind any proxy. Do any of you encounter this problem as well?

Best regards
You'll probably be told to get Firefox or Chrome instead of using IE.
I get this message when trying to connect on my Android phone.
When trying out different browsers, I often encounter a different problem though. It seems like my opponent is not moving, and when he loses on time, it is actually me who is lost on time. However, if I hover over my opponents name when he 'is not moving', I can see the move he made in the small diagram, while it is not registered at the main board.
