Is Hikaru Nakamua human?

Nope he is an alien. Watch your butt! He wants to probe you!
@McVain (#6)

That is the point, it tricks you into trying to calculate so it takes longer than 1 second to react and think your name.
He used to have problems with the rules (touch-move, both-handed castling, j‘adoube).

It‘s not stylish if a master doesn’t master the rules
It is a joke @McVain it works best if you tell it in person and make the math calculations a little longer most of the time the person will forget you told them that they were the bus driver its more of a mind trick.

He is human,he is very strong in blitz and bullet chess and this also means that in tactics he is very fast and good to find the correct and best possible solution.
what i dont understand is how he can move so quickly, when the puzzle comes up takes me at least 6-7 seconds to gauge the situation were all the pieces are etc. Naka can move almost instantly
@eatchipss Same as that. The guy has perceived the main thrust of the puzzle, given a running commentary and I'm still trying to locate the enemy king!

Naka has a serious chess skill set, which you would expect I guess.
Really guys, I don’t like it when they stretch the rules. And Naka obviously tried to tweak them in his favor.
@Sarg0n I agree with you and Naka should be suitably punished if this was the case. However, that won't stop me from admiring his very high order perceptual skills.
