A friend of mine was accused of cheating

If one player do a big blunder early in the game that give you a +7 or better evaluation. The computer thinks all your moves are good even if you drop to +5.. because you are still winning and the % of drop in evaluation is still lower than if you drop from +1 to +0,5... so when you do "learn form your mistakes" you might actually drop a minor piece in a totally won or totally lost position.. and that error might not show up in your "learn from your mistakes. So if your opponent do big mistake in beginning, you also get a more easy game and cetipawnloss might get very low.

I played a classic game at the local club lately... with a older but somewhat experienced/ good player.. we thought nobody did big mistakes in that game.. but computer finds lots of long winning lines for each side at times.. so the computer gives us both near 100 in centipawnloss... witch is really crazy. But its just not easy to see that this lines are winning for a human at our level. So computer give bad score. Lets say 2 player play a very nonchalenging game.. where nobody really attacks, and there are not much tactical positions... both player will have many equal and good moves... so centipawnloss tends to be lower.. i also experienced for instance when i get a prep.. for ex. I play and get a danish gambit.. ofc i kow the opening and if opponent accept gambit there might be a long forced line or he get in trouble and i know very well the tactics or plans of attacking... sometime the centipawloss becomes realy low and the opponent thinks you play too good.. actually in a prep.. your opponent is in fact playing a computer, because the preped player has looked at these lines with a computer in advance.. some players dont understand this when a player come with a prep.
you sound quite young, so as kindly as I can I say, your story sounds unbelievable. But what I think is irrelevant.

They don't use low centipawn loss to work out if someone was cheating so don't worry about that. If you did cheat it will be very obvious to them, though. So if you get banned and you did cheat, don't try to deny it. they know.

If you didn't cheat, then you have nothing to worry about.

Also, cheating doesn't just mean using an engine. cheating could be getting moves from a strong human player. If you're rated 1300 and play like a 1300 for 100s of games, then for 6 games you beat 2200s, something ain't right.
You seem a little bit too nervous for it being "a friend" and "did nothing wrong". If he did nothing wrong there will be no problem.
