My friend @srinikamathur and I wrote this poem:
The World
When the world was first built,
It was like heaven but naught.
They sing and blow the flute,
They don't even have anything to have bought.
Then the happy days are over,
Our sins crawl the Earth.
People call others losers,
While they themselves rot.
The outside world is full of sorrow,
Nobody bothers about a rabbit's burrow,
People are busy with their jobs,
And women care about the knobs.
Nature dies every day,
Dies due to the world!
What is that eerie sound I hear?
It is the wail of Nature, I fear.
Animals lose their homes,
'Cause people make homes and domes,
It's not fair!
What's happened to the world, oh dear!
The world only cares for people,
People only care for themselves,
While around them Nature dies!
Mother Earth wails in sorrow,
As little animals lose their home hollow,
Oh, what happened to the world?
Mother Earth wails.
The world is destroyed,
I cannot and would not stand by and watch,
But what can I do?
Oh God, save us all.
