IIRC the rating floor used to be 2200. Did lowering it to 2100 increase participation?
I see no reason to name names, but I doubt I am the only one to have noticed players circumventing this bar, for instance by creating duplicate accounts.
I agree that JL is a draw, and as he has said repeatedly about one's rating "it's just a number".
